SATURDAY Tufting Workshop| Beginner+Intermediate
We proudly gather local artists from Edmonton to lead our workshops. Our instructors bring their creativity, experience, and passion into every class — and you’ll even learn some of their special skills and unique techniques along the way.About this experience
Join us for a fun and relaxing Saturday Tufting Workshop! This class is perfect for both beginners and returning tufters. If it’s your first time, you can choose to create a 30×30 tote bag or a 50×50 mini rug — both beginner-friendly projects that we guide you through step by step.
For guests who have tufted before, we also offer a 70×70 intermediate rug option. This larger size allows for more detail and creativity, making it ideal for anyone wanting to level up their tufting skills.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll learn the full tufting process: preparing your design, using the tufting gun, filling in your rug, shaving, trimming, and finishing your piece. All materials are included, and our cozy, friendly studio makes the experience enjoyable for every skill level.
Come create something handmade, discover a new hobby, and leave with a unique piece you’ll be proud to show off. 🧶✨

Hey! I’m Justin, the person behind Teatufts. I started my tufting journey in October 2022 and quickly fell in love with transforming simple designs into soft, handmade pieces that brighten up any space. Every rug I make is crafted with care, creativity, and a real appreciation for the art.
Feel free to check out my work at @teatufts on Instagram. If you ever want to learn tufting, I’ll make sure you feel supported and relaxed from the moment you start. I’m all about creating a positive, welcoming environment where you can have fun and make something you’re proud of.
